post-shopping summary

well! i didn't buy the entire list but i did get a top, mascara, lip gloss and this absolutely GORGEOUS dress from valleygirl! and it was only $25!

holidays - again!

yes, it's that time of the year - again! holidays!

for the past two days i have been whingeing to my mother about the importance of clothes and some of my stuff has gone missing(!) so today i have $110 to spend however the hell i like!

i shall buy:

- a couple tops - i'm taking a leaf out of my friend maddy's book and aiming for some pretty softer colours and stuff; i'm also moulding my spring style around this ever-so-gorgeous headscarf that belongs to my grandma - she's 68 years old and has a great sense of style as she worked in a designer fashion store and because my mum was soo pretty, she modelled for it! did i get her genes? no.
- some shorts - i had this stunning pair of shorts from valleygirl - they were dark denim and had a pretty little flower pattern along the inside hem and they're gone and i don't know where they are!
- harem pants - i want some! my cousin has some really awesome ones, but she got them from best & less (ew!), but they're really cool! so i'm going to have to go into best & less (which i vowed not to do almost two years ago after i was introduced to fashionopolis!) and buy them. ew.
- lip balm/gloss - i need new lip balm. the last time i had lip balm was when i was five and i got it out of a 'sabrina's secrets' magazine.
- and finally, ballet flats!!!!!!!!!!! - i am in dire need of ballet flats; my old ones have half the sole coming off after i stepped in dog crap at canberra and i had to yank it out of the stuff and then i had to go to parliament house and walk around the most important spot in australia!! lucky my teacher stuck them up with tape but they fell apart soon after. they were crap anyway. my other ballet flats are lost. they have little red cherries on them and they're wedge-heeled (slightly). i love them but they dont match with anything! hahahaha no.

anyway, g2g because my li'l sister marie wants to go on. little sisters - will they ever let up?

holidays.

holidays. is it just me or is the word so - golden? like the sun - and my luscious locks in the sun. not.
well, in my case, it would be icy-blue because it is the chilly winter holidays.
i've been wearing a lot of black and grey lately. no, i'm not going emo. it's my lame attempt to keep warm.

winter holiday checklist: must have's and do's:

1. some new jeans - some nice long ones would be nice.
2. woolly grey oversized cardi.
3. black wool gloves.
4. black stockings.
5. that undoubtedly awesome smiggle pen that twists from blue pen to red pen to pacer and the other end is a highlighter!! it's pretty cool.
6. see the hannah montana movie. i'm definitely not a fan but i want to see what happens. the trailer reveals so little!
7. also, i would like to see year one, i love you, man and the hangover(but we have to show id for ilyman and hangover, poo) ooh, and dance flick in august! (wayan brothers movie, very good!)
8. do a band rehearsal. don't ask.
9. go shopping for 1-5, what i'm going to wear for the party and the birthday gift. (i still have no idea what i'm going to get her.)
10. kiss a llama.

anyways, it's only 1 more day until the holidays. if my shift+1 keys on my computer were working, i would be embellishing this blog entry with many, many, many, many exclamation marks.

i love horror...

anyways, today in 1st and 2nd periods, myself and my class got a morning of horror. how lucky are we?! first we listened to my english teacher tell us a surprisingly creepy story of an old cannibalistic witch-doctor and then in sose (which is like history and geography) we watched the end of 'gallipoli', where the main character dies(?)! and i felt really freaked out and i was shaking for the rest of the lesson. but maddy was there with her imaginary 'glass box' that was really special and soundproof and weird and that cheered me up.

there's this girl in my class, and she invited me (and my friends) to her birthday party. and it's probably going to be the party of the year. for me, at least. so i have no clue what to wear, or to do with my hair, because it goes from 6pm to 9:30pm. can anyone help me?!
